About Us

Vibrant Marketing Solutions is owned and operated by co-founders Melinda Thome and Jessica Nielsen. The company was formed in 2008 after Melinda and Jessica put their heads together while they were in-between contracts at Microsoft. They decided that their experience in marketing coupled with their entrepreneurial spirit would enable them to form a great company.

Meet the owners

 

Melinda Thome - Principal, Co-Founder (left)
Melinda Thome has 10 years’ experience in marketing communications and finance. Melinda specializes in marketing communications, project management, content writing, and business strategy.

Melinda received her Master’s in Business Administration in 2007 from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. Her Master’s thesis covered women in the workplace and the glass ceiling – real or perceived. Melinda lives in Woodinville with her husband and son. She enjoys baking, scrapbooking, playing piano and running after the dog.

 

Jessica Nielsen - Principal, Co-Founder (right)
Jessica Nielsen offers 14 years of marketing experience, including 6 years as a marketing consultant for Microsoft. She specializes in marketing communications, technical and product marketing, campaign management, marketing project management, and retail marketing. Jessica excels at marketing messaging, product and relationship marketing, go-to-market and campaign strategy, and project planning and management.

Jessica earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley, where she also served as a mentor to local underprivileged students.  Jessica is also a part time fitness instructor. She lives with her husband and son in Redmond, WA.
